HELLO
I'm Megan, a photographer based in Northern Iowa. I wan't to tell you a bit about who I am, and why I do what I do.
Ever since I was a little girl I was obsessed with imagery. I remember always sneaking off to look at the National Geographic books in Barnes & Noble. I was absolutely mesmerized by the beauty this world has to offer. It fascinated me that a simple photograph made me feel emotion. Whether it brought tears to my eyes or warmth to my heart, it was beautiful. Once I realized I could capture my own moments, I picked up a camera and never put it down.
I started shooting professionally as a senior in high school and once I graduated in 2020 I took my business full time. I have been blessed with the most amazing experiences and even better clients over the past 6 years. Now, I am currently 24 years old, married to the love of my life, and raising the most perfect daughter that we welcomed June 10th of this year. I love to travel and explore new places. I love a cup of coffee in the morning. I love a camping trip. I love a good book and a glass of wine. I love sunday morning church. I love the mountains. And I love taking pictures.
To put it simply, I do what I do because I love it. Not for the money, not for the audience, but because it is my passion and always has been. I'm here to deliver an experience. Imagery you can feel. And moments that will last a lifetime.
